Meet Mike, AKA LAVA
Hi, I'm Mike - creative director and pixel pusher at Basalt Creative. I'm passionate about design, marketing, and the development of my craft. In my career I've been fortunate to work with global brands (Visa, MX, NOTE), and have been part of building a few I am proud to call my own. I love what I do, and along the way a few people have given me some love back:
While I was Creative Director at MX (formerly MoneyDesktop), I lead a creative team of some of the most talented individuals I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Over the course of 5+ years I was part of creating some pretty awesome stuff (if I may be so bold).
I've since ventured out into the wild, consulting with brands, entrepreneurs and corporations across the globe. This site is a collection of my work and thoughts that represent my thoughtful approach, bold solutions, and results I’ve produced and delivered for clients and employers.
